audio-technica - Earphones with new mechanism "DUAL PHASE PUSH-PULL DRIVERS"

audio-technica is going to release 2 models of new earphones that have a newly developed mechanism DUAL PHASE PUSH-PULL DRIVERS for the first time in the world.

ATH-CKR9 (¥32,400) and ATH-CKR10 (¥43,200) will be released on April 25.

These new models are earphones with 13mm 2 dynamic driver units placed facing each other - called the DUAL PHASE PUSH-PULL DRIVERS mechanism. 2 diaphragms move together, but they don't have the same movement. By inputting an antiphase signal to one driver, the 2 drives move independently. Thanks to the mechanism, these new earphones have improved sound reproducibility performance and play unconstrained sounds without distortion.

High rigidity titanium is used for the housing of ATH-CKR10  (¥43,200), and machining aluminum alloy is used for the housing of ATH-CKR9 (¥32,400).
