Sharp - espresso machine-like tea maker "HEALSIO Ocha Presso"

People who care about coffee own an espresso machine. If you care so much about tea, why not try Sharp's new HEALSIO Ocha Presso?

HEALSIO Ocha Presso is an espresso machine-like tea maker which is able to make tea without altering the nutrient ingredients of tea leaves such as catechin and fibers. The built-in small ceramic tea mortar slowly mills tea leaves into a 20 micron fine powder which allows the tea made with this machine to have 1.9 times more catechin than that made in a tea pot.

HEALSIO Ocha Presso boils water in the tank on the back side, removes chlorine component, and lower the temperature to 80-90 degrees C. Then, The hot water and milled tea leaves get mixed using a mechanism that whisks green tea with a bamboo whisk.

You can also make use of the milled powder for cakes or dishes.
