Ramen Museum to open in Europe in less than 10 years

Great news for Ramen fans in Europe! Omedetou!

Yokohama Ramen Museum announced that they are planning to open another Ramen Museum in Europe in less than 10 years. They will also mark the 20th anniversary of their ramen museum business tomorrow.

The visibility of Ramen has been increasing so much overseas. Proof of that is the fact that 150,000 foreigners visited the Yokohama Ramen Museum in 2013.

Yokohama Ramen Museum is currently investigating about countries in which to branch out and they will start developing specific plans in 2 years. But at this point there is no indication about which countries or cities in Europe are most likely to be where the new museum will be based.

The reason why they plan to choose a location in Europe is that Japanese subculture such as animation is popular there more than other areas so they thought Europe is the most suitable area to spread the Japanese Ramen culture.
