Cream cheese flavored baked KitKat available at the world's first KitKat Chocolatory

The world's first KitKat specialized store KitKat Chocolatory, where has recently opened on January 17th in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan, sells high-end KitKats supervised by the renowned Japanese pastry chef, Yasumasa Takagi.

For a limited time only, you can buy a cream cheese flavored baked KitKat at KitKat Chocolatory through March 14. It's not a KitKat that has cream cheese flavor on it, but it was actually baked in an oven. It has a deliciously-browned surface and crunchy texture. It's exactly what a high-end KitKat should be.

The regular non-baked "Special Cream Cheese" flavor (4 pieces for ¥420) is an item that will be available to be bought after March 14.

Stand-up-eating restaurants are not unusual here.

Many people here are pressed with work every day and don't want to spend too much time to eat, so stand-up restaurants enable these people to eat a satisfying meal for a very short time. Typical examples are stand-up bars, noodle stands, yakitori (skewered grilled chicken) joints, etc. Recently, more fancy types of stand-up restaurants have opened and people started enjoying full-fledged cuisine such as French and Italian food, casually and reasonably.
