Buffalo - New "DELA" brand for products designed for high-res audio devices

Buffalo today announced their full-scale entry into the audio market with their newly established brand, DELA. The brand is for products designed for high-res audio equipment.

With its first release, Buffalo is going to release 3 products from DELA including 2 NAS models, which are the world's first NAS intended for exclusive use with high-res equipment, and a LAN cable. The 2 NAS models are made-to-order and will start being shipped at the end of this month.

N1Z (HA-N1ZS10) - ¥700,000 ~ ¥800,000

The flagship high-res audio NAS N1Z (HA-N1ZS10) is the ultimate audio NAS. Buffalo applied an Ethernet Purifier system to N1Z's LAN terminal, and to maximize the performance, they made it possible to connect the LAN terminal and the player directly without a router or hub. For the disk drive, their newly developed original 512GB SSD for audio is built to drive fixed, consistent sound quality. In order not to make an impact on the LAN terminal, they keep separated the power circuit of the USB device and the electricity-consuming SSD. They also installed 2 power source units with a capacitor bank each.
