Morinaga - Assorted regional Hi-Chew takes you on an imaginary journey
Let's go on a journey to all of Hokkaido, Tohoku, Okinawa and Hawaii within 30 minutes!
Hi-Chew is a famous flavored chewy candy series sold by Morinaga at home and abroad. More than 100 flavors have been released since Hi-Chew was first released in 1975. Just like Nestlé's KitKat, Morinaga has been selling seasonal and regional Hi-Chew flavors as well, and certain flavors can only be bought in the region in which they are famous - not in other areas.
However, Morinaga announced that only from February 19 until the end of April, they are going to release the assorted regional Hi-Chew set "Tabisuru Hi-Chew Assort" and people are going to be able to buy it regardless of where they live.
The assorted set comes with 4 flavors: Yubari-melon from the Hokkaido area (4ps), Cherry from the Tohoku area (6ps), Shekwasha (a kind of citrus fruit famous in Okinawa) from the Okinawa area (4ps), and Banana from Hawaii (6ps). Those flavors are usually only available in the areas in which they are famous.
