Valentine's Day in Japan - Chocolate Teeth?

Akihabaranews.com - Valentine's Day - Chocolate Teeth

As we pointed out last year, Valentines Day in Japan is a time for the ladies to give a romantic gift to their special someone.

Chocolate is considered most appropriate, especially from an expensive, foreign brand. And perhaps it is a universal truth that nothing says I Love You like a box of exotic chocolates from an exclusive French boutique that the guy has never heard of.

So what does a set of homemade chocolate dentures say to your special someone?

Melting down chocolate and recasting it into various homemade shapes is just one of the choices in the arsenal for some Japanese ladies.

And if you are a dentistry student in Japan, why not make some teeth and gums, and why not make them exquisitely detailed down to the grooves and craters in the teeth and ridges in the gums? Those nooks and crannies* really are well done and could really be just what your boyfriend is waiting for.

Would this anatomically correct palate suit your palate?

* Yes, I was just waiting for the opportunity to use the phrase, nooks and crannies.
