As we pointed out last year, Valentines Day in Japan is a time for the ladies to give a romantic gift to their special someone.

Chocolate is considered most appropriate, especially from an expensive, foreign brand. And perhaps it is a universal truth that nothing says I Love You like a box of exotic chocolates from an exclusive French boutique that the guy has never heard of.

So what does a set of homemade chocolate dentures say to your special someone?

Melting down chocolate and recasting it into various homemade shapes is just one of the choices in the arsenal for some Japanese ladies.

And if you are a dentistry student in Japan, why not make some teeth and gums, and why not make them exquisitely detailed down to the grooves and craters in the teeth and ridges in the gums? Those nooks and crannies* really are well done and could really be just what your boyfriend is waiting for.

Honda Aircraft Company, Honda's subsidiary aircraft business, has just introduced their currently in-development lightweight jet called HondaJet to the public at the 2014 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.

They also announced that they will begin the full-scale process for commercial production in order to start delivering to end customers within 2015 after being able to obtain the aircraft's type certification by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) of the United States.

Nikon has just announced that they will release the new model Nikon 1 V3 from their mirrorless camera series Nikon 1 in April.

The standout features of the Nikon 1 V3 are that it is able to shoot continuously up to 20fps with autofocus tracking and up to 60 fps when autofocus is locked.

Great news for Ramen fans in Europe! Omedetou!

Yokohama Ramen Museum announced that they are planning to open another Ramen Museum in Europe in less than 10 years. They will also mark the 20th anniversary of their ramen museum business tomorrow.

The visibility of Ramen has been increasing so much overseas. Proof of that is the fact that 150,000 foreigners visited the Yokohama Ramen Museum in 2013.

 

Toshiba just announced that they are going to release 3 new models of their 13.3 inch Ultrabook "dynabook KIRA" series in late November.

Models of the "dynabook KIRA" series have a light and thin body, featuring a 13 inch WQHD display, 4th generation Intel Core processor, Windows 8.1, 4K compliant HDMI, etc.

Luxury Trains' Growing Popularity in Japan
JR East
is planning to start the operation of a new luxury train called "Cruise Train" in the spring of 2017.

Recently, they took the wraps off of its interior and exterior designs. They were produced by famous Japanese automobile designer Kiyoyuki Okuyama (known as Ken Okuyama outside of Japan).  

Sony announced that today they have released a special Walkman model in collaboration with a Japanese visual-kei band, the GazettE, in a limited quantity.

The limited edition "the GazettE Model" is made based on Walkman's F series and S series. An original design is stamped on the backside, and original music video "LAST HEAVEN", photos, and wallpapers are pre-installed.
