Untitled Two-Man Tokyo Tech Show
Okay yeah, admittedly, our run-and-gun, impromptu, low-tech tech show’s half-baked title isn’t all that great - we’ll see about getting it all propered up eventually. And yes, we know it runs pretty long, and we’ll work on that. To be fair, our unexpected special guest, the pleasantly inebriated Mr. Kikuchi, an Akihabara IT worker, added several minutes, but he also added considerable quality.

For this our first venture, we shot in our namesake neighborhood, Akihabara, not far from the Japan Railways Akihabara train station. Future episodes will also be shot at random locations in and around the Tokyo area with the possibility of field trips.

What About This?
Give us your venue suggestions, feedback, criticism, if anyone thinks Reno needs to get rid of that “beard,” corrections, call-outs, tips. If you just wanna make fun of us, we can take it. Trolls with
flair and originality will receive extra points and a cookie.

Have a watch. Let us know.

Breakdown: EPISODE 1
AkihabaraNews' contributor Nayalan Moodley and editor Reno J. Tibke stand around in very cold and windy Akihabara waxing geeky on the latest tech news. This week, a drunken yet very nice and fairly polite IT worker jumped in to talk about the ills currently faced by the Japanese community, including a loss of social cohesion and some history and some stuff our non-native ears couldn’t pick up. He was a cool guy.

Ralph Baer - Video Game Console Inventor - AkihabaraNews.com
Though he's not regarded in the same fashion, considering the impact this one guy has had on the entirety of humanity, in our opinion it's completely reasonable to place Baer among the ranks of your Steve Jobses, Bill Gateses, and Jeff Bezoses.

Seavac has been researching the conventional coating technologies using TiN, Ti-Al, and CrN, and developed ZERO-I, a new coating that combines the advantages of all three.

"The hardness is about 3,500 HV. This coating is heat-resistant to over 1,000 degrees. Conventional Ti-Al coatings were heat-resistant to nearly 900 degrees, but this coating has even better heat resistance, and hardness as well."
