docomo Healthcare - "Move Band" Wristband to support your health

docomo Healthcare, combined company of NTT docomo and Omron, continues to pursue the wearable tech space, releasing the wristband-shaped activity monitor Move Band for about ¥9,500 on January 29.

Move Band was originally planned to be out in December 2013, however, the release was postponed because the Move Band's original clips were found to be too weak.

Move Band measures your steps, distance, calories burned when you move around and time of sleeping, and the data gets transferred via Bluetooth connection and display in the dedicated smartphone application called "WM" (Watashi Move).

Not just for NTT docomo users, users of other mobile carriers will be able to use it.

Honestly, when another AkihabaraNews editor told me there are new icky flavored soy milk products that will go on sale, I immediately thought what's so wrong about these flavors. They sound good!
