Acecook - Instant pan-fried noodles with TOO MUCH mayonnaise on top

Major Japanese instant noodle vendor, Acecook, is going to start a new instant noodle series, EDGE, and they are going to introduce outrageous noodle products from now on. As its first shot, they are going to release a shocking (but something that suites recent tastes) instant noodle on January 13.

The new product is EDGE Onimayo Yakisoba, which is instant garlicky peppery pan-fried noodles with too much mayonnaise for the topping. The name literally means devil-mayonnaise fried noodle, with the meaning being that there is an outrageous amount of mayonnaise on the fried noodles.

Most Japanese people like mayonnaise so much that we put mayonnaise on many dishes. Although Japanese food is well-known for its sensitive flavor and beautiful appearance, we also love to kill all the good flavors with too much mayonnaise (Mayonnaise makes every dish tasty!!). We guess EDGE Onimayo Yakisoba will sell well.

Japan's Traditional Sushi Now Comes with Futuristic Technology

With its masters required to hone their skills over decades, sushi in Japan is steeped in tradition. But it is also often a high-tech operation where robotic precision steals the limelight from the chef's knife.

The country is dotted with thousands of "kaiten" (revolving) sushi restaurants where raw fish slices atop rice balls travel on conveyer belts along counters waiting to be picked up by diners.

Licking Pikachu in Shibuya (GALLERY) - AkihabaraNews.com
If you have ever wanted to a lick a Pikachu, I can confirm that he/she/[insert your preferred gender here] tastes of mango. Yes, that’s right. If your childhood dreams of catching them all actually involved eating them all, you now can. Except, by all Pokémon, I actually mean mainly Pikachu.
Currently, a "red snow" crab croquette burger is available at McDonald's stores in Japan. It will be sold for only a limited period of time until early January.

Together with the opening of the Pokémon-themed exhibition "Pokémon the movie XY", Pikachu Cafe will open from July 19 through August 31 at Tokyo City View (observation deck area) at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo.

The food menu that will be served at the Pikachu Cafe has now been unveiled and it is too cute to eat!

Koikeya is now selling mandarin orange-flavored potato chips at convenience stores all over Japan. It has the fruit's fragrant sweet and acidic flavor.

It says American style but REALLY??

Freshness Burger today released a doubtful burger called - Pizzaburg American Style.

Pizzaburg is a burger that looks like a pizza but tastes like a burger, and you eat it with a fork and knife. A beef patty, sunny-side up egg, lettuce, tomato, and cheese are on the fresh focaccia. That's served topped with bacon bits, fried onion and brown sauce.

Yesterday, Mos Burger, the Japanese burger chain, released some new items for their famous rice burger series.

One of them surprised us a lot. The Sabamiso Rice Burger might look like a very new concept for those living overseas, but actually it's simple and old - it is just made from the favorite Japanese lunch combination: Makerel cooked in miso based broth with some fine strips of leek as a topping and white rice - and put into a sandwich.
