Willcom - Multifunctional mobile phone with Bluetooth and tethering ability

Willcom is the smaller, 4th mobile service provider in Japan after NTT Docomo, Softbank and au by KDDI.

They unveiled a new multifunctional mobile phone "WX12K", manufactured by Kyocera, scheduled to be released on November 14.

Since "WX12K" is compatible with Bluetooth, by connecting your Android smartphone with the installed dedicated application, "WX12K" can be used as the smartphone's cordless pair and you can make a phone call with the smartphone through Wilcom's line (which can be cheaper than other providers). You can also connect to handsfree devices like a wireless headset or other devices. Also, after connecting "WX12K" and Bluetooth PAN compliant smartphone/tablet via Bluetooth, you are able to use the phone's tethering function.

"WX12K" has a 3 inch display, camera with 5M effective pixels, 100MB data storage, "Smart Sonic Receiver" for listening to voices clearly in a loud area, "Yukkuri Tsuwa (slow talk in Japanese)" to allow you to listen to the other's voice more slowly, and "Hakkiri Tsuwa (clear talk in Japanese) to increase the volume and adjust sound range to make it sound more clear.

In addition, if you pay an extra monthly usage fee, you can have the function to detect spam phone calls automatically and receive the early warning email service delivered by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

Many color variations are available: black, navy x gold, pink, silver, and white x gold.
