Fujifilm - FUJIFILM X-E2 - Upgraded AF (to 0.08 seconds) and image quality
Fujifilm has announced that their new "FUJIFILM X-E2" with interchangeable lenses will be released on November 9.
It features auto focus that has been made faster - to 0.08 seconds - by their unique phase detection AF system.
It also features new lowpassless APS-C image sensor "X-Trans CMOS II" (16.3 million effective pixels). Image processor "EXR Processor II" was also improved so that it takes only 0.5 seconds for start-up, 0.05 seconds for shutter time lag, and 0.5 seconds for shoot duration. Max, ISO 25,600.
Fujifilm adopted "Lens Modulation Optimizer" technology, which the company says brings overwhelmingly high-resolution clear images to the interchangeable lenses system of the X series.
It's also compatible with Wi-Fi.
