Nikon's first Wi-Fi & GPS compliant digital single-lens reflex camera "D5300"

Nikon is releasing their first digital single-lens reflex camera that is compatible with Wi-Fi and GPS - "D5300" - in mid-November.

The newly-developed "Nikon DX Format CMOS sensor" (24.16 million effective pixels) and image processor "EPEED 4", with faster processing ability, built into D5300 have brought a marked improvement to its performance of noise reduction, auto white balance, color reproductivity and gradation processing.

Because of the Wi-Fi function, after installing the dedicated application "Wireless Mobile Utility" to your smart device, you can send photos and movies saved in a memory card in D5300 to your smart devices. Also, the smart device can be a mirror to the D5300's live view so that you can take photos and movies remotely in real-time.

D5300 has a 3.2 inch vari-angle LCD monitor (1.04 million dots). The monitor can open 180-degrees and rotate 90-degrees clockwise, 180-degree counterclockwise.
