Sony - New compact action camera with wrist-watch type remote control

 

Sony is going to release the new model of their compact action camera series. "HDR-AS30V" will be released on October 11 and comes with a waterproof case and mount attachment. "HDR-AS30VR" will be released on December 6, which is the basic "HDR-AS30V" model and also includes the new wrist-watch type live-view remote control.

This new camera weights only 90g with built-in CMOS image sensor "Exmor R" (total pixels: 16.8 million pixels) and Wi-Fi/NFC functions. It supports the electronic camera-shake correction system compatible with intense activities like cycling, sky diving, etc.

The accompanying waterproof case is 5m waterproof and 1.5m shockproof. Even with the case on, you can control the camera. The new wrist-watch type live-view remote control is interesting as well. It can connect with the camera via Wi-Fi, and you can check the angle of the movie you are taking and control the start and stop of recording.

Nikon announced the release of the FX format full-frame DSLR D750. It will be released on September 12.

D750 adopted the 35mm full-size Nikon FX format CMOS sensor (24.32MP) and EXPEED 4 image processor. Nikon added a Wi-Fi function and a tiltable back monitor (3.2inch, 1.229 dot) to a Nikon FX format model for the first time, and the monitor can be used as a live view finder.

Casio is going to release the new flagship model of its EXILIM series - 10.7X optical zoom EX-100 - for about ¥90,000 in late March.

EX-100 features 28-300mm range f/2.8 aperture 10.7x optical zoom lens including 12 elements in 10 group lens contraction. It is compatible with macro photography from the shortest distance of 5cm and with telephotography from the shortest distance of 50cm.

Sanwa Supply started selling a mobile digital microscope and camera (400-CAM010N), which is able to focus on an object with a maximum 500X zoom, for ¥11,800.

400-CAM010N looks like a normal compact digital camera at first sight, but it can take super detailed photos of fine details, such as that of material fibers, that a regular digital camera cannot do. Not just a tool for micro observation, for those who have poor eyesight, it can be used as a magnifier while they read small characters.

Panasonic is going to start selling new interchangeable lens LEICA DG NOCTICRON 42.5mm/F1.2 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. H-NS043 (model: H-NS043) for LUMIX G digital single lens mirrorless cameras using Micro Four Thirds-size image sensor on February 13.

It's certified by Leica for its high quality optics and has achieved fast F1.2 aperture called NOCTICRON. It also has optical image stabilization system POWER O.I.S. to prevent both fast and slow camera shakes.
