Sony - Innovative "lens camera" that works with a smartphone

Before IFA2013, beginning on September 9, Sony unveiled their new innovate Cyber Shot model "DSC-QX100" and "DSC-QX10" that both look like an interchangeable lens at first glance, but they have a shutter button, memory card slot, battery, etc. built-in along the side.

The lens camera can be attached on the back side of a smartphone with the accompanying attachment and you can take photos, using the smartphone's screen.

Since the lens camera itself works as a camera, you can use it by itself, closer to the subject, without attaching the camera and smartphone.

The lens camera is a new generation camera suited to work in conjunction with the ubiquitous smartphone.
