Yamaha is going to release their new 5.1ch AV receiver "RX-S600" in mid-September.

It has an 11cm-tall slim body. Lots of high-performance elements are included in it, such as discrete power amplifier, Yamaha's unique sound creation technology "Cinema DSP", MHL/4K Ultra HD compliant HDMI terminal, maximum 192kHz/24bit network audio play, a dedicated application called "AV Controller" to allow you to control the AV receiver with your smartphone or tablet, etc.

If you have the Yamaha's Bluetooth wireless audio receiver "YBA-11" (sold separately), you can also enjoy music in your Bluetooth compliant device without a Wi-Fi environment.

Yamaha is going to release new entry model AV amplifier "RX-V377" for ¥44,000 in mid-March.

Although it's an entry model, RX-V377 has an HDMI input that allows the transmission of 4K Ultra HD images. It's also compatible with 3D image transmission, ARC (Audio Return Channel) and linkage with major companies' TV and recorders.

Sony is going to release the special Disney & Snoopy versions of their WALKMAN S (NW-S780/NW-S780K) only from March 3 until May 7.

You can choose your favorite character, inscribe your initials and pick the font, and then print them on the back of the device.

6 colors of the WALKMAN S device are available: Vivid Pink, Blue, White, Light Pink, Green, and Black.

The NW-S780K model includes a separate speaker which the WALKMAN S can plug into.

Sony is going to release a compact, slick all-in-one audio system on April 19. There will be 2 models available: "CMT-X7CD" with Wi-Fi for about ¥33,000 and "CMT-X5CD" without Wi-Fi for about ¥23,000.

You can listen to music with the audio system by connecting with multiple devices such as WALKMAN, iPhone/iPad/iPod, smartphone, PC, USB memory, etc. directly or via Bluetooth network. It supports NFC, apt-X/AAC codec, and FM/AM tuner. Although it has a slim body, it also has a CD player built-in!

JTT, Japan Trust Technology, has released the in-car Karaoke system Driving Karaoke! Kuruma-Utamaru.

Yamaha will release a stylish stand-alone audio system "ISX-803" from their Restio series in late October.

ISX-803 can play music from other Bluetooth compliant devices wirelessly as well as from CDs, FM radio and music saved in USB memory.

A smartphone or tablet that has the free dedicated application DTA CONTROLLER installed, can be used as a remote control of ISX-803.
