Dwango - Female health managers keeping engineers in shape!

Dwango - Female health managers keeping engineers in shape!

Engineers tend to keep long hours and eat unhealthy food from working too many late nights. So, to encourage their engineers to live a regular and healthy lifestyle, Japanese media company, Dwango, is going to implement a project called "Jyoshi-mane Bento" to their engineers on September 2.

"Jyoshi-mane" (an abbreviation for "Jyoshi Manager") is a common term for a female manager who takes care of the players, equipment and records of a school sports team. Drawing from this Japanese tradition, Dwango hired 15 girls for a new Joshi-mane position as a part-time job. Those girls have to wear a gym uniform to make them look more like real team managers to help the engineers.
Below are what the Joshi-mane team is going to do:

1. They will lead easy traditional gymnastic exercises called "Radio Taiso" at 10:30am every morning. Engineers who join the exercises get a stamp on a dedicated stamp card.

2. At lunch time, Joshi-mane will hand them a nutritious bento box for free in exchange for the stamp. They can choose out of 6 or 7 kinds of different bento boxes.

3. They will keep a bubbly and smiley attitude around the engineers.

If the engineers can have a more healthy and productive day, this project is a genius and innovative idea! For engineers, it is great because they can join the exercise to get in shape, get a free nutritions lunch, and spend some time with cute, energetic girls…  For Dwango, it may help get more interest from engineers who might consider looking for a job there.

Ms. Erika Handa generously shared some of her shots with us. Sure, she works for CASIO, but in truth she’s far more representative of a civilian than Mr. Moodley the Executive-Level Camera Nerd Reviewer. As such, to round out our coverage of the camera, we were happy to share her selfies and groupies. And so...

Once Again, it's J-Cosplay Day! Cosplay doesn't have a really specific place of origin, but most would say it began sort of concurrently as an American/Japanese phenomenon, then went global. Basically, it's anytime-doable Halloween. And often produces...beautiful people.

Very Big Game Show
If you haven't been to Makuhari Messe before, know that 'convention center' doesn't quite do it justice. No, 'stadium' is a closer approximation of the venue's size and footprint on the northeastern edge of Tokyo Bay [MAP], part of the Tokyo Metro Area, but actually in Chiba Prefecture (not far from from Tokyo Disney Land).

Japanese Girls Underwater in Knee-High Mecha-Socks (MOSTLY SFW GALLERY)
Taking underwater photos of girls in bikinis wearing knee-high mecha-socks might be one of the better jobs ever to have been conceived in the history of work. And if one could also get those photos published in a book and sell it for money, the gig would definitely crack the top 10. Well, someone nailed it.
