Kyoto is a place where people should experience the delicate beauty of Japan, but after hearing this news, we hope that Kyoto will not forget the Japanese spirit of modesty and aesthetic sense...

Tonkatsu (Pork cutlets) is surely one of the most loved Japanese food by Japanese as well as foreigners. The combination of the deep fried juicy thick pork, crunchy panko and flavorful sauce are dreamy.

However, Yoshibe, a Tonkatsu specialized restaurant in Kobe, broke the rule and have made it into a dessert. They are going to sell the Tonkatsu dessert for a limited time only from April 26 to May 6.

Instant noodles, Top Ramen in particular, are perhaps best known as a symbol of the struggling college student, the underemployed and/or lazy bachelor, or simply the food of last resort - but not in Japan. Here there’s a clear, unabashed romance between Cup Noodles and robots.

Japanese burger chain, LOTTERIA, is going to start selling Tsuke-pote (meaning "dipping"-"potato" in Japanese) on January 9th. Tsuke-pote is french fries with chocolate sauce for dipping. It will be sold for a limited time only from January 9th through mid February.

It probably tastes like chocolate covered pretzels or potato chips, but it should be a bit more greasy. Just by imagining its salty-sweet flavor, it makes my mouth water :)

Potato chips… meet Colonel Sanders!

Calbee and Kentucky Fried Chicken collaborated to make a new type of potato chips that will be out on January 6.

The flavor is Colonel Crispy, which is based on KFC's "Colonel Crispy" boneless crispy fried chicken.  The chips have stronger garlic and soy sauce taste added on. Sounds like a seriously delicious taste!
